Industrial Engineering Students and Faculty Recognized at National Conference
Industrial engineering college students and school been given a selection of honors at the national conference of the Institute of Industrial and Devices Engineers, held May 21-24 in Seattle.
Sandra Eksioglu, the Hefley Professor in Logistics and Entrepreneurship, was awarded the title of Fellow of the institute. This honor recognizes remarkable leaders of the occupation who have produced sizeable, nationally acknowledged contributions to industrial and techniques engineering. A Fellow is the highest classification of membership in the institute.

A member given that 2004, Eksioglu has served the corporation in many roles from co-chairing unique tracks to her provider in a three-yr rotation as president-elect, president and previous president of the Operations Investigation Division.
