Volvo CE breaks ground on Shippensburg training center
Volvo Development Equipment (Volvo CE) broke ground April 6 on a new $6.4 million technician education center at the company’s North American headquarters in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
Scheduled to open in early 2023, the world-course facility will host in-individual and digital coaching courses for large tools professionals, according to a news release from the organization.
The teaching facility will be an extension of the 40-acre Volvo CE Customer Middle and incorporate new machine bays, school rooms, a digital lab with video clip, augmented truth and other systems.
Training chances will largely be for Volvo dealer specialists and will incorporate complex programs on tools, as properly as technological know-how and products and services like device handle systems and highly developed telematics. There will also be education and demonstrations on electrical equipment, automation and connectivity.
