Volvo CE breaks ground on Shippensburg training center

Volvo Development Equipment (Volvo CE) broke ground April 6 on a new $6.4 million technician education center at the company’s North American headquarters in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. 

Scheduled to open in early 2023, the world-course facility will host in-individual and digital coaching courses for large tools professionals, according to a news release from the organization.

Next-generation technician coaching

The teaching facility will be an extension of the 40-acre Volvo CE Customer Middle and incorporate new machine bays, school rooms, a digital lab with video clip, augmented truth and other systems.
